Nice little cozy restaurant with great food and very friendly and attentive service! I wasn't sure what to expect since we had just found the restaurant while visiting family, but the food was delicious! I was actually in the mood for sushi, but went with Mexican and because it was like a cerviche, some of this dish reminded me of very fresh sushi - especially some of the shrimp, which was the best I've had yet. It came in a salty lime sauce that also reminded me of soy sauce, so I was very happy! My guest ordered the Mole Enchilada with short rib meat and it was incredible! The bits of rib meat were a little crispy and better than I was expecting. I'm usually not a fan of mole sauce, but I really enjoyed this one.

Thank you so much, Ken! We're glad you and your family stumbled upon us and that the ceviche hit the spot, it's always fun to see guests find unexpected flavors in Mexican food. So happy the mole enchilada won you over too, that short rib version is a favorite of ours as well. Thanks for giving us a try while visiting Woodside, hope to see you again soon!

First time at this wonderful neighborhood spot, and we aren’t even from the neighborhood (wish we were, I’d be here all the time!). The happy hour cocktails were delicious and the food was on point (especially the seafood tower!). There were a lot of other dishes I wanted to try so will need to come back. A sweet and delicious touch at the end when we ordered churros and they gave them to us on the house. Such a simple but wonderful gesture, which does not go unnoticed in today’s economy. We’ve been to other larger establishments recently that didn’t even acknowledge a birthday in anyway, so kudos to the team here all around for making this Monday night dinner feel like a special occasion!

Jean, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review! We're so glad your first visit had you feeling like part of the neighborhood, even if you're not local to Woodside. It means a lot that the happy hour cocktails and dishes hit the mark, and we loved getting to add a little something extra with the churros to make your Monday night feel special. We think good mexican food and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand, and it sounds like our team nailed that for you. Can't wait to have you back to try more of the menu soon!

Dinner was excellent! We had a Paloma, the tuna tosataditos, fried fish app, mole chicken, chicken quesadilla and churros. Service was excellent. We got there an hour before closing and didn't feel rushed. And the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Will be back!

Thank you so much, Keita! Sounds like you got to try a great mix of our menu, from the mole chicken to the churros. We're glad you felt taken care of even so close to closing, and that the space came through too. We love being part of the Woodside mexican food scene and can't wait to welcome you back!
