An Absolute Gem! What a surprise this was - I went out with my son, as this was near his apartment, with very little expectations. The menu has three sections - small Persian and Afghan, and an elaborate Turkish. We got greedy, and between two of us ordered one mains each from all the three sections. All three were perfectly done. Then, we got confident enough to order a kunafe as well (so many restaurants serve it, most of them badly). Even that was really well done. I think we ran the highest bill any two people would have done in this place :-). So ignore our per person spend

Absolutely the some of the best food in town. The prices are slightly high, but the quality makes this splurge-worthy. The service could be slightly more attentive, however its still worth the price and time, delicious, hot, fresh, amazing food you will not find elsewhere in Pittsburgh. Get the yellow baba ganoush and anything meat heavy and you'll not be disappointed!

A little pricey but very tasty. If you’re two people definitely consider getting the two people plates, very good portions

The food was great, but the service at the end of the meal was highly unprofessional and ruined our initial good experience. After waiting almost 5 minutes for the server to return for my check, which is not unusual (no complaints here), I walked to the counter to pay and leave earlier for personal reasons. The waiter then condescendingly started lecturing me on restaurant etiquette as if I've never been to a restaurant before and how I should BEHAVE next time instead of just processing the payment! The waiter needs to learn that hospitality is about service, not lecturing customers who are just trying to pay and leave quickly for any reason. Although the food was great, I won't be returning.

My favorite in Pittsburgh. The food is amazing. The staff is so friendly. A very pleasant experience.
