Ala Rasi Restaurant (Fusion Cuisine / Füzyon Mutfağı)

Finally found good food near Taksim, ambiance was calm and peaceful, good hospitality and service by Bilal. We tried Lamb Kabsa. Also ordered Pasha kabab on Bilal’s recommendation, both items were absolute spot on. He was kind to offer complimentary turkish tea and dessert. Highly recommend Ala Rasi in between overhyped touristy restaurants in the area.

Fusion cuisine indeed. You will find Indian, Afghani, Arabic, and Turkish meals. I ordered vegetable biryani and Afghan rice. Both were good and served inside a dough-covered clay pot, biryani was spicy though fyi. Would recommend.

This is a major hidden gem! It’s a bit away from the major tourist crowd on the next street, but it’s just as convenient. Most important, the food is fantastic, the atmosphere relaxing, with kind and attentive wait staff. The prices are at least 20-30% cheaper than restaurants on the next street. There are no fees or taxes added. You can pay by credit card, and pay the gratuity by cash. It’s a great restaurant!

While travelling in Turkey, I was looking for a restaurant that could satisfy my hunger… and I stumbled upon this one. What a surprise! 😍. The menu was simply sensational. I went for the Chicken Kebsa and the Chicken Karahi, served with a Balloon Lavash, a traditional bread that’s as light as it is tasty. It was a real culinary discovery rich flavours, perfectly balanced spices and generous portions that pleasantly surprised me. A place I’ll treasure in my memory! 🇹🇷✨ and I’ll go there an another time before I leave the country!
