Amazing food at this local Eritrean Houston gem. Every bite was flavorful and I couldn't get enough. If you want to get a good variety of tastes, I would recommend getting the veggie platter and doro wot. The injera was the perfect texture. The owner is so friendly and hospitable, such a sweet experience. We're so glad we came here on our Houston trip, I wish we lived closer!

My daughter and I decided to try Ethiopian food and stumbled upon this hidden gem! When we first arrived, the place looked empty, and we honestly weren’t sure if we should go inside. But since the sign said open, we decided to give it a try, and I’m SO glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the sweetest lady! She was incredibly welcoming and took the time to guide us through the menu, helping us decide what to order. We ended up ordering a FEAST, and let me tell you, EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious! We were completely stuffed but couldn’t stop eating because the food was just THAT good! To top off an already amazing experience, she brought us hot tea after our meal. Such a thoughtful and special touch! PLEASE do not judge this place by how it looks from the outside! Go inside, sit down, and enjoy some incredible food! You will NOT regret it! The food is AMAZING, the hospitality is genuine, and the service is TOP-TIER! This place deserves all the love and support. We will definitely be back!
