Bland. Watery. No Salt. Expensive. Disappointed. Upon reading the reviews of others, I wasn't the only one who had this experience. I ordered from Spice Street for the first time just 1.5 hours ago. It was a simple order of Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. Immediately after tasting I noticed a lack of flavor and salt. The Butter Chicken was incredibly watery and not the usually buttery, creamy texture you'd expect from this dish. It might as well have been called Chicken Soup. The chicken pieces themselves were large and not chunk size, it felt it had just been thrown into sauce. Due to the size of the pieces, the flavor wasn't absorbed. The Garlic Naan... I should have just ordered plain naan. The only good aspect from this experience was that the order came quickly, but that still led to disappointment as the dish was lukewarm. All this for around $30 plus a driver tip. Extortionately priced, I should ordered from one of the Indian restaurants in Rockville.
