SalTerra Coastal Taqueria

This was our 3rd time in. We drove 90 minutes from Santa Rosa Beach because the food and service are that good. When you find a place that checks all the boxes it's literally a unicorn in the restaurant world. This place is a unicorn and what makes it even better is the attention and care the owners show by speaking to everyone. Worth the drive every single time. All the food is fresh and beautifully plated and the drinks are delicious.

The restaurant has the atmosphere and pricing of an upscale dining experience, but unfortunately, the food did not live up to the price point. The dishes were quite bland and lacked the authentic, fresh flavors I expected from a Mexican taqueria. The beans and corn tasted like they came straight from a can, which was especially disappointing considering the prices. Overall, I found the restaurant overrated and overpriced for the quality of the food. The drinks were good and probably the highlight of the experience, and the staff was polite, attentive, and welcoming. I'd say it's worth stopping by for a couple of drinks, but | wouldn't recommend going specifically for the food.

We sat at the bar, and had the house margarita and steak bowl. Wow! The steak was on point, and the house margarita was refreshing and tasty. The atmosphere was fun and modern, and great music. Highly recommend!!!
