Perfect Together Restaurant and Cafe

PLEASE READ DO NOT GO HERE! I just went to this place with my wife on 8/25/26 at about 12:15pm we arrived. We came here because the reviews were so good but i can see that this was a complete lie and people are just being nice or this place fell off. First off the waitress was rude, standoffish, lacked any type of interpersonal skills. This should have been reason enough to leave. But unfortunately we stayed due to the 4.9! They boasted. Anyway second strike was when i tried to order coffee and they had none available… why give me the coffee menu if you don’t want to make the coffee for me. This is at 12 noon mind you and she told me the coffee would not be ready until 2pm!! Why would you offer coffee but not for the morning people??? We proceeded to just get water and acai bowls for us to start. This acai bowl took 30mins to come out. And the result was horrid, the most DISGUSTING, DESPICABLE, DISRESPECTFUL, HORRENDOUS ACAI BOWL I HAVE EVER HAD! Two bites in and my stomach was hurting. The acai was water mixed with acai powder not even real acai with chunks of ice, no bananas hardly any fruit only came with strawberries and kiwi. And hardly any granola, no peanut butter or coconut flakes. Then we ordered our entrees and this is where it gets worse. Yes it gets worse unfortunately… so my wife orders eastern chicken with cauliflower fries. The chicken you can obviously tell it was frozen, and it was very old and tough dry stale chicken. So gross not even edible. My dish was a chicken kofta kabab plate with rice and salad. The chicken looked like a pre frozen made turd from Jetro or something. Taste wasn’t too bad but left a bad aftertaste. The salad was uninspiring and the rice was hard no flavor and awful like they got it prepackaged and microwaved it. Sad part it was cold when i got it. Is anything freshly made to order here? I do not know. Then no one came to ask us how everything was. Even when it came time to pay, no smiles, they saw our dishes were full did not ask if we liked it or needed to go boxes or anything. Gave us dirty looks the whole time. I paid 43$ and no TIP because that lady does not deserve any form of tip. And i ALWAYS tip so this was a first. The owner of this establishment should be embarrassed how this place serves this crap and thinks it is ok. I will be calling the health inspector to ensure this place gets shut down! Do not go here! I will never be back! And i bet the owners don’t care! Ps: look how a real acai bowl is suppose to look like. Credit: oola bowl

Overall, the plov was good. I DoorDashed it and would give it a 3/5, mainly because the meat wasn’t tender, the portion was too small, and I didn’t receive the egg or my side of vinegared cabbage and onion slaw. However, the rice and everything else in it were amazing and delicious.

Great spot

This is probably one of my fav restaurants in Philly. I can’t recommend enough.

Delicious food and quick nice service.

We had a wonderful lunch at Perfect Together. The food was delicious and unexpected, especially the rice noodle salad. Our server couldn't have been friendlier. Looking forward to eating there again!
