There's something special about Masjid Al Salam that words almost don't do justice. This building carries a remarkable history. It once stood as St. Gerard's Catholic Church, and today, by the will of Allah, it stands as a masjid, filled with the sound of the adhan, the recitation of the Quran, and worshippers prostrating to the One true God, alone, without partners. Walking through those doors, you can feel the weight of that history, and the peace of what this space has become. The architecture alone is worth the visit. But it's the atmosphere that stays with you, calm, welcoming, and full of a genuine sense of community. Buffalo is truly blessed to have a place like this. May Allah bless this masjid and everyone who takes care of it, and keep it a place of peace, faith, and pure tawhid for generations to come. Ameen.
