Malek Al-Kabob Dearborn

Everything about this restaurant is great. The food is absolutely delicious! The service is first rate and everyone is friendly. Inside or outside dining options are both very nice. Delicious fresh baked bread; how can you go wrong. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic middle eastern restaurant in the heart of Dearborn serving delicious specially meals made fresh . The hummus was delicious and creamy , the beef and chicken kebab were delicious and first class. Service friendly and the place has a dynamic vibe .

I lived in the Detroit area more than 20 years ago, when Dearborn was THE place for incredible Lebanese food & shawarma, so I was especially excited to return after all these years. Malek Al-Kabob was very good, the fattoush was especially delicious, & the service was absolutely outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal & our time there. That said, I found myself missing the bold, deeply spiced Lebanese flavors I remember from the old Dearborn. The shawarma and some of the other dishes seemed more muted and perhaps adapted to a broader American palate. Everything was prepared well, but I personally would have loved more of that wonderful depth of seasoning & spice that I remember so vividly. Still a very enjoyable meal with exceptional service, and I would certainly recommend it. Four stars—mostly because this longtime Lebanese-food lover is still searching for those big, bold Dearborn flavors I remember!
