We enjoyed a great meal with our family at Luna 33. The restaurant is cozy as it’s located in the basement and is nicely decorated with fun paintings. Guacamole and queso were a great start, and everyone enjoyed the pork and steak in our respective picks. Lots of fresh ingredients which are the details that matter when crafting great Mexican food. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Service was pretty bad. I had to wait a while to have my order taken. The lemonade was atrocious. Guac was good. The chips were a bit less desirable. The shrimp fajitas came in a pineapple which is great for presentation but I don’t want to have to dig through Monterrey vegetables to find shrimp. The shrimp itself was average. The meal will definitely fill you up but not leave you fully satisfied.
