I ordered through Uber Eats around 11 PM, so I understand that it was a late order. I still wanted to leave an honest review because my experience was very mixed. The Dengesa/Kitfo was absolutely incredible. That was easily the best part of my order. It tasted really good, had great flavor, and I enjoyed it so much. I honestly have no complaints about the Kitfo at all, and I would definitely order it again. Because the Kitfo was so good, I was expecting the Yebere Tibs to be just as good too. Unfortunately, the Yebere Tibs was very disappointing and confusing. On Uber Eats, it is described as tender beef fried with spices, hot pepper, tomato, and onion, and the picture also looks like fried tibs. That is exactly what I thought I was ordering. But what I received looked and tasted more like lega tibs/non-fried tibs. It had a lot of tomato and onion, and the beef did not have the fried or dry texture I was expecting from the picture and description. I really tried to enjoy it because I had already paid for it. I ate the injera and the vegetables that came with the meal, and I even added the extra kochekocha I ordered to the tibs, but unfortunately I still did not like the taste of the beef. Most of the tibs ended up going in the trash, which I really hated doing because it was a lot of food. I was also disappointed with the extra Kocheckoha . I paid extra for it, but the portion was extremely small. I received two very tiny portions, and even together it did not feel like a reasonable amount for something that was an additional charge. I think the restaurant should make the tibs options clearer on Uber Eats. If there is a fried/dry tibs option and a lega/non-fried tibs option, they should be listed separately so customers can choose exactly what they want. The picture and description should also match what is actually being served, because what I received was very different from what I expected. The Kitfo was honestly amazing and showed me that this restaurant can make really good food. That is why the tibs was especially disappointing. I would definitely come back for the Kitfo, but I would not order the tibs again unless the options and description are made clearer.
