While exploring more Mediterranean restaurants in the Paterson area, we decided to give this place a try. The location is not the most attractive, as it’s on a busy street surrounded by car washes and auto shops, but parking was easy. I’m not sure how the area is at night. The restaurant itself is very spacious and very clean. It was completely empty when we arrived, but we were warmly welcomed and seated right away. We started with the lentil soup. It didn’t have a very strong lentil flavor, but it was still very tasty. Our waiter was very attentive and also brought us pickles, onions, and pita bread. For the main course, we ordered the chicken kebab, which came with salad and rice. I personally didn’t care for the rice, but the chicken was well seasoned and served with a roasted pepper and tomato. My husband ordered Adana Kebab, the lamb was very tasty. To finish, we had Turkish tea, which was delicious, and a tres leches cake that was absolutely spectacular. Honestly, that dessert alone is one of the main reasons I would come back. They also very kindly gave us a complimentary chocolate and pistachio baklava, which was delicious as well. Overall, the restaurant is spacious, very clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back, especially for that amazing tres leches cake. Totally recommended!
