If you're wanting to try authentic Turkish food, this is an excellent spot to try in the Tampa area. Every dish was beyond our expectations. We'll be visiting again soon.

came with my friend! got the mixed grill, cold appetizer, and falafel. the food was amazing the customer service was amazing the owner (i think he was the owner) was very very friendly and offered us hot tea !!! i will be coming back here very often!!!

The food is fantastic. Never had baked humus before and it’s incredible. Highly suggest the homemade chicken sandwich with homemade pita bread and the cigkofte meatballs. So the homemade pita bread looks more like an Americanized version of a bun but so much better yall. They are absolutely incredible

The worst experience we have ever had at a restaraunt!!!

Today I took my son to Istanbul Restaurant for his birthday and we asked where to order. The young man told us we could order with him so we ordered. We sat down to eat. When the waiter brought a to-go bag we were surprised because we did not say to-go. After we began to eat, the owner came to us and rudely began to tell my son that we were disrespecting his restaurant by eating a to-go order inside of the restaurant. When he came to the table he was very angry and aggressive. We tried to descalate by explaining to him that we didnt know we were getting a to-go order. He then became very disrespectful and refused to look at us. He began waving his hands to send us out of the restaurant. We were totally humiliated and disregarded and it totally ruinned my son's birthday. When I told him it was my sons birthday he said he dont care and waved for us to get out. I have never in my life been treated with so much hate and aggression especially in a Halal establishment. I am very hurt and will never come to this place again.

Having never had Turkish food before and unsure what flavors to expect, exactly, my husband, son and I absolutely loved it. We have been 2 times already and Im sure we will go back again. The food is flavorful, staff is friendly and full of suggestions. The restaurant is clean and the market has alot of grocery items, from canned and dry goods to refrigerated and frozen foods for purchase.

What can I say here... This place was filthy. The bathroom toilets were overflowing with poop. They would not take responsibility for how discussing the place was. Flies buzzing around our table. This place is nothing special. Service was horrible, waitress payed no attention to us and we were only 2 tables seated at the time. So my expectations are a fair service especially when they tell you up front that the tip will be automatically charged. If you know that your getting paid the tip up front, you provide the service the clients pay for. This place was nothing short of disappointment.
