Irie I Jamaican American cafe

We were looking for some good Jamaican food and I found this one on Google maps and decided to try it of course we tried oxtail and it was 10 out of 10. We are definitely coming back when I asked the lady at the counter if it was good, she said yes he will come back lol I was worried it would be fatty, but he wasn’t that fatty and it was so good and plenty of meat. So good we are coming back. Nice people and spotless :)

I go to this restaurant on Mondays. I had a few bad experience with my order and I always get jerked chicken. And the chicken has been really really dry and hard on the inside lately. I've mentioned it to them a few times to make sure its fresh because when fresh, it's actually pretty good. Well, yesterday I ordered an the guy brought the jerk chicken out that looked pretty fresh. But the owner looked at him with an unusual face took the plate back and came back with some dried out hard chicken. I didn't notice how dry an hard it was until I got home and started eating it. I was disappointed. If I'm spending my hard earned $20 for a plate. Please give me what I pay for. I know you don't want to waste food but you should check your chicken before you sell it. Because sitting in a warmer its drying out bad. I won't be going here anymore it's a shame that this keeps happening. This local business I can't help support anymore. Enough is enough!! In reference to your response, you're saying that the inside of the chicken should be dry and hard. I don't see how you can enjoy that kind of chicken by adding jerk sauce or gravy. I'm just saying🤔
