Forbidden Palace Chinese Bar & Bistro

UPDATE 10/9/26: I still enjoy the food at Forbidden Palace, but will never order their chicken and broccoli again. I ordered that entree on Friday, 10/9/26, and was shocked to see the fatty pieces of what was supposed to be chicken breast. Per the manager, for this entree the chicken is fast cooked in oil and then boiled. I then requested that the chicken be cooked szechuan style so that it would be cooked in an edible style. I ended up losing my appetite and took the rest of the entree home. After heating the chicken in the microwave, I was able to ascertain that about half of it was fatty chicken skin. I was very disappointed in this entree. The pictures show the fatty chicken skin in one container and what appears to be chicken breast in the other. I have fallen in love with Forbidden Palace. The menu offers countless delicious selections. So far, I've enjoyed the egg drop soup, shrimp and broccoli, shrimp fried rice, shrimp Singapore, shrimp egg foo young, and Szechuan string beans and chicken. I've capped off two meals with their scrumptious cheese cake with white chocolate flakes. Watching the robots roll the food to the diners makes each visit fun.

Food is okay. But some of the staff is rude, and in general, there are communication issues in English. Their customer service is unfriendly and frustrating.

Legit the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. See you tonight!
