Don Ramon – Very Disappointing Service We visited Don Ramon on Sunday around 7:00 PM, and the service was absolutely terrible. After being seated, our waiter came over and asked what we wanted to drink. We placed our drink orders and also requested water and the bread that is normally served at this restaurant. To our surprise, the waiter told us they had run out of bread but said he would check to see if a fresh batch was ready. First of all, how does a restaurant run out of bread at 7:00 PM on a Sunday? After waiting 30 minutes, we still hadn't received our water or any bread. I finally got up and asked the waiter what happened to our water. Instead of apologizing, he insisted that we had never asked for water, which was completely untrue. Even if we hadn't requested it, bringing water to the table is one of the most basic things a restaurant should do. When I asked about the bread again, he simply said they didn't have any. I questioned how a restaurant could run out of something so basic, and his response was, "I'm just a soldier." Seriously? What kind of response is that to a paying customer? The lack of service, poor communication, and dismissive attitude were completely unacceptable. Customers shouldn't have to chase down their waiter for a glass of water after sitting for half an hour. Don Ramon needs to seriously improve its customer service. A restaurant is about more than just food—it's also about how you treat your customers. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.
