We were a party of eight last night so I'll share a terrible experience. Two ordered pan seared grouper with a sauce over basmati rice My first taste of the fish alerted me immediately that sometthing was off. The fish was very dense and in no way tasted like a gentle white flake grouper. I asked if it was fresh or frozen. Confirmed, it was frozen. What! Frozen and thawed in what I think was a microwave. Asked about the catch of the day. You guessed it. Frozen grouper. Nothing was done to adjust the bill and needless to say we will not be having dinner there again.
Hi Joan, I sincerely apologize for the experience with the grouper. I just need to clarify that our grouper is IQF or Individually Quickly Frozen, a product that is superior in quality and more expensive than bulk frozen products, it is used in most decent restaurants that care about quality. The fish is cut into fillets immediately after catching then each fillet is flash frozen and vacuum packed, we defrost the fillets the night before and never use a microwave. Obviously something went wrong with your dish and I am checking to see what was is the issue. Once again, I apologize about the experience.
