Ancho Chilli Mexican Grill

Customer Service: Definitely room for improvement. You don't have to roll out the red carpet, but a simple “Hello, welcome in!” or “What can I get you today?” would go a long way. No one was rude, just a little awkward. Some warmth would make a big difference! Food: Pretty decent, but there's room for growth. The honey chicken saved my bowl! Everything tasted fresh, and even my leftovers were good reheated. The steak, however, was damn near tasteless. Thankfully, the fresh salsas came through! The fajitas were cooked well, and the cilantro and chipotle sauces were solid. The rice could use more flavor, maybe some lime, salt, and fresh cilantro. Overall: Solid 7/10. The portions were generous, and I spent about the same as I would at THAT other place. 😂 I want to support this spot because there's potential here. A few tweaks to the food and customer service could make a big difference. I'll be back! Maybe next time I'll try the tacos and skip the rice.
