876 Flava (African & Jamaican Food)

Interesting combo of Jamaican & Segalese food. I was excited to try Senegal jollof as a big jollof lover. The jollof was hot and fresh but once those flavors sat overnight it was soooo much better the next day 10/ 10! I wanted the jerk chicken but they were out so I had grilled lamb. It was taste but a bit too salty and could have been more tender. The onion stew (not sure what it is called) that came with the lamb was not my flavor palate. I also bought sorrel and the blend was excellent. I loved it. Finally, the gentleman behind the counter was super nice and very pleasant and helpful in helping me understand some of African food options. If I'm in the area again, I would consider returning to try other dishes and fresh drinks.

I got the curry goat, rice and peas and macaroni. The portion size was decent on all 3, but I expected a lot more flavor out of the goat. I came specifically to try the curry goat. I wouldn’t get it again. The macaroni was bland. The rice and peas were as expected. It was an average meal. Definitely not bad but I wouldn’t come back. It’s worth checking out. They have plenty of food options. The staff was nice. Also, they don’t have any hot sauce upon request.
